New York’s best-kept musical secret is coming back once again.
East Aurora, NY’s Borderland Festival returns for the eighth time from Sept. 18-20 at Knox Farm State Park this year.
To ring in the occasion, the curators went all-out booking a lineup made up of rockers, bluesmen, grunge icons, roots-y groups, folk heroes and more.
Just a few of the most notable artists on the stacked bill include Rock Hall of Famer Jack White, hearty ensemble The Alabama Shakes, singular psych-folk outfit Lord Huron, alt-legends Pixies and rapidly-rising singer-songwriter Jesse Welles.
They’ll be joined by The Head And The Heart, Flipturn, St. Paul and the Broken Bones, Chance Peña and Andy Fransco & The U.N.
In total, 32 unique acts will flak Borderland’s three stages over the long weekend.

On top of all the acts descending upon East Aurora, Borderland will also play host to artists, artisans, food purveyors, and craft brewers that “reflect the creativity, culture, and community spirit that define the Borderland experience.”
There’s also a tattoo bus, frequency massage and bodywork (free in VIP tents!), petting zoo, free axe throwing and a kid’s zone they’ve dubbed “Village Play Voyager.”
Mouth-watering vendors on hand include Basteenie Weenies, Al Forno Ferruzza Pizza, Frosty Softy, Fat Bob’s BBQ and Buffalo Bros Burgers among others.
