Hulk Hogan’s widow, Sky Daily, has the final say with regard to the wrestling icon’s autopsy, despite lingering questions from his daughter, Brooke.
The 46-year-old, who wed the WWE star in September 2023, would need to be the one to express suspicions about his death to cops, which would prompt the District Six Medical Examiner to investigate, the Largo, Fla. authority told TMZ.
Earlier in the week, Daily said the family was “making sure every question about his medical care is answered” before Hulk is cremated.
As of Friday, however, she had not given police any indication she planned to request an autopsy.
Hogan died of a heart attack in late July at age 71, though it’s since been revealed he also had a history of leukemia CLL. The latter came as a shock to Brooke, who said she’d been present for almost all of her dad’s surgeries and was privy to the results of his blood work.
“I’ve seen MULTIPLE near-perfect blood panels of my father’s and then all of a sudden everything’s different? Anyone would want answers,” Brooke said during a Tuesday appearance on the Bubba The Love Sponge radio show.
Last week, cremation was approved for Hulk without an autopsy, which prompted Brooke to express “uncertainly” around the circumstances of her father’s death and offer to foot the bill for the report.
On Thursday, in response to some saying Daily had “shaded” her by not yet requesting an autopsy, Brooke echoed authorities’ contention that there were “no signs of foul play or anything suspicious,” but said the family just wants to be certain about Hulk’s “very complicated medical history.”
