An inant girl was found dead in a duffel bag stuffed in a closet of her family’s Brooklyn apartment — and her mother has been arrested for hiding the body, police said Monday.
Gynae Kendall, 25, was charged Sunday with concealment of a human corpse.
Her month-old daughter, Adonnys Kendall, was found dead in the duffel bag inside the closet when police at 7:30 p.m. Saturday responded to the family’s East Flatbush apartment on Veronica Place near Beverly Road.
The infant’s worried grandmother had called 911 and asked police to check on the infant, police sources said.
The infant’s cause of death has not yet been determined and it was not immediately clear how long she had been dead.
Kendall was awaiting arraignment in Brooklyn Criminal Court Monday.
