J Lo, Kylie Jenner address hairstylist Jesus Guerrero’s death

A light gone out.

Jennifer Lopez and Kylie Jenner have broken their silence after the sudden death of their beloved hairstylist, Jesus Guerrero, at the age of 34.

In Instagram posts within hours of each other, the “Jenny From the Block” singer, 55, and the Kylie Cosmetics founder, 27, expressed the deep sense of grief they have felt in the wake of Guerrero’s passing.

“It’s no surprise your mother gave you the name Jesus,” J.Lo began her caption, addressed directly to the celebrated stylist, that she paired with a black-and-white selfie seemingly taken by Guerrero in bed.

“You were gentle and kind and loving, quiet and unassuming, but so powerful, and your presence was felt the minute you walked into any room. You never demanded the spotlight. You never needed to make a sound to be recognized, your heart and your talent did that as effortlessly as you artistry did.”

The “Marry Me” star confessed, “I’ve been having trouble putting the words together the last few days,” adding, “The truth is I’m still in shock that such a beautiful young life has come to an end.”

“It seems senseless and unfair,” she continued. “I know your family is brokenhearted as am I and everyone else who knew you. Your spirit moved on to the next phase beyond this life but I know wherever you are there is beauty and light. And the beauty and light you left here will live on forever.”

She signed off, “Rest in peace, sweet angel…”

For her part, Jenner shared a series of photos and videos of her with the celebrity hairstylist.

“Jesus was more than my friend,” Jenner began her Instagram post, calling him, “a light in my life, a source of laughter, comfort, love, and unwavering support.”

“I don’t know how I would have made it through the last almost decade without him by my side,” she shared. “He had a way of making even the heaviest days feel lighter.”

The former “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” star thanked Guerrero for “always being there for me, for lifting me up, for being my friend.”

“The pain of losing you is just unbearable and i don’t know how to move forward without you but I know great grief is born only of great love,” she wrote, adding, “I loved you so much.”

Jenner continued, “You were the best person, with a talent that was unmatched.”

Another one of Jenner’s siblings, Kim Kardashian, 44, also spoke out about the stylist’s passing, sharing her heartache in a message posted to her Instagram story on Monday.

“Our great respect for the art of hair and make up has led us to meeting some of the kindest souls and made some of our bestest friends,” Kim wrote. “So when one of our glam family members passes away all of our souls are crushed.”

Guerrero’s death was confirmed over the weekend by Jesus’ sister, Gris Guerrero, who set up a GoFoundMe page following his passing.

Gris wrote that her brother died “very suddenly and unexpectedly.”

A cause of death has not yet been revealed.

Describing Guerrero as “a son, a brother, an uncle, an artist, a friend, and so much more,” who was “born and raised in Houston, TX to immigrant parents,” Gris said, “Jesus learned how to work hard and dreamt of taking his skills to the top.”

Jesus’ family also mourned the celebrity hairstylist in a post on his Instagram Stories after his death.

We have fallen into tears repeatedly reminiscing and wondering what we could of done different to still have him with us.”

The family added, “I don’t know how the world will go on without his light but I know he’ll give us the strength to push past any obstacle. RIP Jesus we all love you.”
