Loudmouth Kennedy nepo-baby Jack Schlossberg on Friday shamelessly invoked his assassinated presidential grandfather right out of the gate to try to start drumming up cash for his Big Apple congressional bid.
“I’m Jack Schlossberg, and my grandfather, President Kennedy, is my hero,” reads the second line of the 32-year-old’s email to supporters.
The preppy social-media influencer has little experience to his own name, so he’s banking on a name-drop — and maybe some Park Avenue privilege — to win him New York’s 12th Congressional District.
“I come from a long legacy of public service, from my great-great-grandparents to my mother, Caroline Kennedy,” Schlossberg’s fundraising email continued.
“This is even bigger than living up to my family name,” the surf-shop worker-turned-candidate contended.
“In the words of my grandfather, I’m doing this, ‘Not because it is easy but because it is hard.’ ”
Schlossberg graduated from Harvard Law School three years ago, and since then, the Park Avenue prince has been bumbling between a Hawaii surf shop and writing sporadic opinion pieces for Vogue.
He’s amassed roughly 800,000 followers on his TikTok, posting random political commentary while flashing his dimples. The Kennedy scion seems to be hoping his social-media presence — and sentimental attachment to his family name — will sway the voters in Rep. Jerry Nadler’s Manhattan seat.
“I’ve always been passionate about politics — you can probably gather as much if you’ve seen any of my social media posts :),” wrote Schlossberg in one of the only sentences in the email that didn’t mention his family.
Despite his left leanings, Schlossberg couldn’t help but even name-drop the Kennedy that is currently in office — although he appears to detest him.
“Donald Trump and his buddies (my cousin RFK Jr. — to name just one) are tanking the economy, attacking free speech, and sowing distrust in decades of scientific research,” the email states.
Whitehouse Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt slammed Schlossberg for making “ridiculous comments” about the administration Wednesday following his campaign announcement.
