The cricket from the block.
Jennifer Lopez’s performance in Almaty, Kazakhstan on Sunday went viral after a massive cricket crawled up her dress in the middle of the concert.
While Lopez, 56, sang into a microphone on stage, the cricket could be seen crawling up her black dress to her neck.
Lopez then casually flicked the bug off her neck, as she smiled and told the cheering audience, “It was tickling me.”
Footage of the shocking moment was shared on Instagram by Lopez’s official fan account and she “liked” the post.
“Plot twist: @JLo just started rehearsals for Kiss of the Cricket Woman… on stage… in real time. 😂💋🦗,” the account wrote alongside the video, referring to Lopez’s upcoming movie musical “Kiss of the Spider Woman.”
“This is hilarious OMG,” one fan wrote in the comments section.
“Didn’t even flinch! Professional level,” another fan said.
“Some lucky bug,” a different user wrote.
A fourth fan commented, “Handled it so well, I would have collapsed right there.”
Lopez is currently on her Up All Night: Live in 2025 tour which kicked off on July 8 in Pontevedra, Spain.
The “Let’s Get Loud” singer suffered a wardrobe malfunction during her performance in Warsaw, Poland late last month.
Lopez’s silver fringe skirt slipped off her hips and she was left wearing only a pair of green high-waisted underwear and sheer tights. “Im here in my underwear,” she told the crowd during the embarrassing moment.
After one of her background dancers couldn’t get the skirt back on her, Lopez took it off and threw it into the audience. She then told the crowd: “I’m glad I had underwear on. I don’t usually wear underwear.”
Lopez’s final show on her tour is slated for Tuesday in Sardinia, Italy.
In May, Lopez announced a new 12-concert residency in Las Vegas at The Colosseum at Caesar’s Palace. The shows are scheduled to take place from Dec. 30, 2025 through March 28, 2026.
“SURPRISE JLOVERS! We’re back! I’m doing a residency in Las Vegas!” the Grammy nominee wrote on Instagram.
Lopez’s last Las Vegas residency took place at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino from 2016 to 2018.
At those 120 shows, she played a 20+ song, seven-act set that included classic hits like “On The Floor,” “Waiting For Tonight,” “Let’s Get Loud,” “Jenny From The Block” and “Love Don’t Cost A Thing.”
