Nip slip alert.
Jennifer Lopez suffered an embarrassing wardrobe malfunction as she attended a benefit concert for composer John Kander’s 98th birthday in New York City Monday.
The singer, 55, arrived at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre in a plunging peach gown with feathered sleeves.
But Lopez’s dress pulled to the side which caused a nip slip right in front of the cameras outside the venue.
The “Hustlers” star ignored the mishap and confidently walked into the event.
When she left later that night, Lopez had changed into a white high neck dress with a long train. She also wore a jewel collar and matching heels and held a silver clutch bag.
The benefit concert was hosted by Alan Cumming and celebrated Kander, who has written the scores for numerous musicals including “Cabaret,” “Chicago” and “Kiss of the Spider Woman,” which is being remade into an upcoming film starring Lopez.
In January, Lopez attended the Sundance Film Festival to premiere “Kiss of the Spider Woman” directed by Bill Condon.
The film stars “Andor” actor Diego Luna as a political prisoner during Argentina’s civil war whose cellmate (played by newcomer Tonatiuh Elizarraraz) recounts an old movie starring his favorite classic screen actress, Ingrid Luna (Lopez).
Lopez was brought to tears by a standing ovation from the audience during a screening of the film at Park City’s Eccles Theatre.
“I’ve been waiting for this moment my whole life,” the superstar told the crowd, per Variety. “The reason I even wanted to be in this business is because my mom would sit me in front of the TV and [‘West Side Story’] would come on once a year. I was mesmerized and was like, ‘That’s what I want to do.’”
Lopez also produced the musical drama alongside her ex-husband Ben Affleck, 52. The actors separated in April 2024, fours months before Lopez filed for divorce after two years of marriage.
After reaching an agreement on their shared $61 million Beverly Hills house, they finalized their divorce in January 2025.
Lopez broke her silence on their divorce with Interview Magazine in a piece published in Oct., revealing she’s “excited” and “not looking for anybody.”
“I know I’m a good person. I know I’m a good mom. I know who my friends are. I know my friends know who I am, my mom, my dad, all that stuff,” she said. “If you hope to have a long career, you have to learn how to deal with that part of the business. Some people are going to love you and some are not going to understand you, and some people just want to hate you to hate you, and none of that really matters.”
Despite going their separate ways, Lopez and Affleck have stayed close to one another’s combined five children.
