“The Old Man Down The Road” is putting on a concert.
John Fogerty just announced he’s going to celebrate his 80th birthday by performing at New York City’s Beacon Theatre on Wednesday, May 28.
“We’re throwing an unforgettable birthday bash at the iconic Beacon Theatre on John’s actual 80th birthday on May 28th!” Fogerty, 79, shared on Instagram.
“…don’t miss your chance to be part of this historic night. Let’s make it a party to remember!”
As of now, this is the former Creedence Clearwater Revival frontman’s only New York show lined up this year; his most recent NY gig was last June when he headlined the Bethel Woods Center For The Arts as part of his 2024 ‘Celebration Tour.’
In addition to the New York show, the Rock Hall of Famer will also perform at the 2025 New Orleans Jazz Festival on Thursday, April 24 and Los Angeles’ Hollywood Bowl on Sunday, July 6.
Fans can purchase tickets for all upcoming John Fogerty shows on sites like Vivid Seats; the official on-sale for the Beacon Theatre concert is Friday, April 4.
Vivid Seats is a secondary market ticketing platform, and prices may be higher or lower than face value, depending on demand.
They have a 100% buyer guarantee that states your transaction will be safe and secure and will be delivered before the event.
