This couple gives love a good name.
Jon Bon Jovi took to social media on Tuesday to celebrate his and wife Dorothea Hurley’s 36th wedding anniversary.
“36 roses for 36 amazing years,” the singer, 63, wrote on Instagram. “Happy anniversary my love…”
Alongside a photo of roses, Bon Jovi shared a snap of himself and Hurley, 62, on their wedding day. The rocker donned a turquoise blue suit while his bride wore a strapless white gown and matching lace gloves.
Rounding out the sweet snaps was a shot of the Graceland Wedding Chapel sign that read, “Rock star Jon Bon Jovi was married here.”
The loving post comes a year after Bon Jovi admitted to stepping out on his wife multiple times over the years.
“These are all the wonderful clichés of rock stardom,” he told The Independent in 2024. “It’s about never lying about having been a saint but not being a fool enough to f–k up the home life, either.”
That same year, Bon Jovi doubled down on his claims of being with women outside of his marriage.
“I got away with murder,” the Grammy winner told Michael Strahan during their interview special, “Halfway There,” on ABC. “I’m a rock ‘n’ roll star, I’m not a saint. You know, I’m not saying that there weren’t 100 girls in my life — I’m Jon Bon Jovi. It was pretty good.”
Bon Jovi, however, didn’t let that ruin his marriage.
“But if you think I was ever going to jeopardize my — anything for believing the narcissist in me was real? What a stupid thing to do,” the rockstar insisted. “What kind of excesses does a man need that’s going to fuel that fire? It’s just not worth it.”
Bon Jovi also praised Hurley, his high school sweetheart, for not being “afraid to call [him] out on something.”
“She’s also there when I fall. And I’m there for her when she falls,” he gushed. “No matter where I went in my career, the ups or the downs, we went there together.”
The couple first started dating in 1980, four years before Bon Jovi released his debut studio album.
In 1985, the pair split but quickly reconciled before eloping in Las Vegas in 1989.
“There is no doubt in my mind that this world revolves because of her,” he told Strahan. “Because of what she did to keep the kids right, what she does to keep me right, what we do together to keep it right. No doubt about it.”
And the musician noted that “growing together is integral” in a marriage, adding that his other half “came from nothing, same hometown, same high school, same group of peripheral friends.”
Bon Jovi and Hurley welcomed their first child Stephanie, 31, in 1993. The two are also parents to son Jesse, 30, and Jake, 22.
Jake has followed in his parents’ footsteps, tying the knot with actress Millie Bobby Brown in May 2024 when he was 22 and she was 20.
Following the pair’s first ceremony in May, Bon Jovi told BBC that it was a “very small family wedding and the bride looked gorgeous.”
Prior to the wedding, the songwriter took a moment to gush about the “Enola Holmes” star, 21.
“She’s really wonderful and her and Jake are a great couple,” he told E! News. “They’re madly in love. It’s an exciting adventure they’re on.”
Bobby Brown’s parents were just as thrilled to welcome their son-in-law into the mix.
“My parents adore him,” the “Stranger Things” star told the Times in 2023. “[Jake and I] both come from parents that have stayed together for a really long time. My parents were young when they got together, so I always had amazing role models for relationships.”
