Jon Hamm calls Paige DeSorbo and Craig Conover’s breakup ‘the end of an era’

Jon Hamm is one mad man about the latest Bravo breakup.

The actor, 53, appeared on CNN’s “New Year’s Eve Live” on Tuesday and revealed his thoughts on the split of “Southern Charm” vet Craig Conover and “Summer House” star Paige DeSorbo.

“I gotta pour one out for Craig and Paige,” Hamm said to hosts Andy Cohen and Anderson Cooper in a video posted to social media. “My goodness. The end of an era. Geez. Who’da thunk it?”

The “Mad Men” alum didn’t stop there as he also gave a rundown of the current season of Bravo’s “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.” Hamm took a moment to weigh in on longtime cast member Dorit Kemsley’s behavior this year.

“I have some thoughts. Dorit is not doing it for me these days,” the “Unfrosted” star explained. “I’m having some issues with her mentality and her issues.”

Cooper, meanwhile, was taken aback by Hamm’s knowledge of the Bravo-verse. “Is Jon Hamm a fan?” he quipped. “Really!”

The Golden Globe winner has been a vocal reality fan for years, appearing on Cohen’s late-night talk show “Watch What Happens Live” on multiple occasions.

During a 2023 appearance on the “Today” show, Hamm confessed his love for two major series on the network: “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” and “Vanderpump Rules,” in which he labeled himself a “Vanderpumper.”

Of course, the “The Town” alum was on board with the relationship crossover between DeSorbo, 32, and Conover, 35, who have appeared on one another’s respective shows for the last few years.

The fashion influencer announced that she and the Sewing Down South founder had split after three years of dating on the Monday episode of her and Hannah Berner’s “Giggly Squad” podcast.

“Craig and I have decided to no longer be together,” DeSorbo told listeners. “I love him, I think he loves me. I think we will remain friends. No one did anything. It wasn’t a bad thing. I think we both were just being really mature and saying what we want and what we didn’t want, and I think that’s extremely powerful to be able to voice how you’re feeling in real time and what you want for your future.”

She added, “It’s weird, it’s very weird. I wasn’t expecting this. Obviously, when we first started dating, you don’t think, ‘Oh, what will happen? Will we get married, will we not?’ You’re just kind of like in this relationship.”

Conover has yet to comment on the breakup, but the news comes after weeks of social media speculation that the pair got engaged over the holidays.

A source told US Weekly that Conover was planning his future with DeSorbo before their breakup.

“Craig was ready for the next steps and had plans to propose to Paige. He was really pushing for the next steps and wanted to settle down with her,” the insider revealed.

The source also noted that the couple’s long-distance relationship — DeSorbo lives in New York City while Conover resides in Charleston, South Carolina — put strain on them.

“Paige does not want to move to Charleston, and logistically it was never going to work out long term,” the source continued. “Many of their friends are not shocked at all, but everyone is sad for them.”
