Jonathan Haze, the actor who played the role of Seymour in the original 1960’s “The Little Shop of Horrors,” has died at the age of 95.
Jonathan’s daughter, Rebecca Haze, revealed to Deadline that Jonathan died “peacefully of natural causes” on Saturday at his Los Angeles home.
Haze’s performance as Seymour in “The Little Shop of Horrors” would inspire countless others in the following decades, as the movie was adapted into an off-Broadway musical in 1982, which, itself, was made into a 1986 movie starring Rick Moranis as Seymour.
Haze also shared a longtime collaboration with the director of “The Little Shop of Horrors,” Roger Corman.
This is a developing story.
