Fans are flipping out over this interaction.
In an all-new sneak peek of the HGTV show “The Flip Off,” stars Christina Hack and Josh Hall come to blows during a tense car ride.
The now estranged couple is driving to a project ahead of their split when Josh tells Christina, “This is a competition, you gotta pull out all stops. Whatever it takes to win, I’ll do it.”
Trying to get the ball rolling, the home renovation star yells, “Halls rule!” to which the “Christina on the Coast” vet, 41, ignores and continues giving her then-husband the silent treatment from the passenger seat.
“You’re supposed to say it with me or repeat it or something to show that you’re with me. Remember, you’re a Hall now,” Josh continues.
Christina lets out a long sigh, to which Josh glances over and reminds her they are a team.
“Don’t get confused in this competition about what your last name is,” he quips in a negative tone, before adding that Christina is “rude.”
Christina replies stating she simply doesn’t “over talk,” which sets Josh off. “You know how much s–t you say and I’m just like, ‘I wish you’d shut up already?’” he questions.
“My wife’s pissing me off already,” Josh says out loud as they continue on their route before Christina asks the realtor, “Are we there yet?”
As the clip ends, viewers get a glimpse of Christina meeting up with her ex-husband and “The Flip Off” competitor Tarek El Moussa.
Tarek, who was married to Christina from 2009 to 2018, worked with his ex-wife for 10 years on HGTV’s “Flip or Flop,” which was filmed before, during and after their divorce.
Of course, the home renovation expert could instantly sense something was off with his ex-wife.
“I know that look. What’s going on? You good?” the 43-year-old, who shares Taylor, 13, and Brayden, 10, with Christina, asks. She takes a moment before admitting: “No. Josh and I officially split up.”
Christina and Josh tied the knot in April 2022 and quickly mixed business with pleasure, working together on “Christina in the Country,” which focused the HGTV member’s renovations in Tennessee.
He also appeared on “Christina on the Coast,” which follows Christina’s projects in California.
In May, it was revealed that the two would compete against Tarek and his wife, “Selling Sunset” alum Heather Rae El Moussa, on the series. But despite Josh’s promised role on the series, plans changed when they both filed for divorce in July 2024.
“He was really piggy backing off her,” an HGTV insider told The Post at the time. “I’m sure this show ‘The Flip Off’ was probably the last straw for [Christina]. He wasn’t good on camera.”
“She tried to make it work, and there’s a breaking point,” added a source close to Christina. “Things have not been great for a really long time.”
Christina’s rep, Cassie Zebisch-Schienle, said that her client was “looking forward to moving forward in this chapter of her life” at the time.
Josh filed for divorce the same day, citing irreconcilable differences.
“The marriage was strained, but Josh never expected this ending,” a source close to him told The Post.
Christina also felt her ex was trying to “steal money from her,” according to an insider.
The source close to Josh disputed that claim.
“He transferred money from a joint bank account solely to pay the bills on one of their rental properties, which he has continued to manage following their separation. It was used in the ordinary course of business. Nothing was ‘stolen.’ Any insinuation that Josh stole or mishandled funds is defamatory,” they explained. “Josh was always very financially responsible with the couple’s money.”
Shortly after, Christina broke her silence on the matter that same month.
“I have worked my ass off to build this life for myself and my children and anyone who would try and take what they do not deserve/what they did NOT work for should be ashamed,” she wrote on Instagram in July, going on to call her ex an “insecure man with a large ego.”
Hall, for his part, took to Instagram about the split in August.
“I prefer privacy, especially during something as life-changing as a divorce I did not ask for,” he wrote. “I will not publicly badmouth anyone as people have families, friends and others who respect and love them. Unfortunately, the internet is forever. We are real humans, this is our life and I am not here to entertain people I don’t know with my private matters. Those details will be handled fairly behind closed doors with our respective counsels in due time.”
He concluded: “Those who know each of us, know who we are.”
