The JPMorgan Chase executive accused by a former banker of forcing him to become her “sex slave” has renewed her countersuit against him, claiming he fabricated the lurid allegations to extract millions of dollars from her and the banking giant.
Lorna Hajdini, an executive director at JPMorgan, said in a Monday night Manhattan federal court filing that Chirayu Rana waged a “deliberate and sustained scheme” to portray her as a racist sexual predator and criminal.
Rana has accused Hajdini of coercing him into sex and demanding his submissiveness to advance his career.
His allegations have included claims that she sexually assaulted him, forcibly performed oral sex, grabbed his genitals and threatened to “ruin” him if he rejected her advances.
“Plaintiff’s accusations are false,” Hajdini said in the filing, which seeks unspecified damages for defamation, intentional infliction of emotional distress and other claims.
She said Rana’s accusations caused severe anxiety, panic and fear and led her to withdraw from personal relationships.
Rana’s lawyer, Jon Norinsberg, said his client “categorically” rejects Hajdini’s allegations and intends to vigorously defend against the counterclaims.
JPMorgan separately denied Rana’s most explosive claims Monday night.
