The drama is never ending.
“It Ends With Us” director and star Justin Baldoni is now seemingly in a public tiff with Blake Lively’s husband, Ryan Reynolds.
During an interview with Megyn Kelly on Tuesday, Baldoni’s attorney, Bryan Freedman, slammed “The Green Lantern” star, 48.
The alleged insult was in a viral deleted scene from Reynolds’ movie “Deadpool & Wolverine.”
In the clip, Reynolds has a man bun, the hairstyle Baldoni wore for decades until 2023, and he is “Nicepool.”
“Oh my goodness, wait til you’ve seen Ladypool,” the supposed “Nicepool” says in the clip.
“She is gorgeous. She just had a baby too, and [you] can’t even tell.”
When Reynolds — as Deadpool — said that Nicepool wasn’t “supposed to say that,” the character replied, “That’s OK. I identify as a feminist.”
He added, “I’d be fighting alongside you, but my calling is to one day start a podcast that monetizes the women’s movement.”
Baldoni had a podcast called “The Man Enough Podcast,” which purports to explore “what it means to be a man today and how rigid gender roles have affected all people.”
Viewers on social media poured over the clip and saw it as a diss against Baldoni.
One pointed out that Lively’s character “lights up” Nicepool in front of a flower shop, an apparent reference to her “It Ends With Us” character, a florist named Lily Bloom.
“If your wife is sexually harassed, you don’t make fun of Justin Baldoni. You don’t make fun of the situation. You take it very seriously,” said Freedman.
He added, “You file HR complaints, you raise the issue and you follow a legal process. What you don’t do is mock the person and turn it into a joke…Again, if somebody is seriously sexually harassed, you don’t make fun of it. It’s a serious issue.”
Reynolds has not publicly commented yet on his wife’s legal battle with Baldoni, but on Tuesday he stepped out for a red carpet appearance at the National Board Awards.
Baldoni and Lively’s series of lawsuits began on Dec. 20, when Lively, 37, filed a sexual harassment complaint against Baldoni, 40.
“It Ends With Us” centers on a domestic violence relationship between their characters, and it’s based on a best-selling novel by Colleen Hoover. It premiered over the summer, and it was a hit, grossing over $300 million on a $25 million budget.
Lively’s lawsuit alleged that Baldoni sexually harassed her on the set.
According to the legal docs, the “Gossip Girl” star also accused Baldoni of “a coordinated effort to destroy her reputation” after the movie was released.
Lively said in the docs that the alleged smear campaign caused harm to her business and led to her family experiencing “severe emotional distress.”
After the suit became public, Baldoni’s lawyer Bryan Freedman told The Post: “It is shameful that Ms. Lively and her representatives would make such serious and categorically false accusations against Mr. Baldoni, Wayfarer Studios and its representatives, as yet another desperate attempt to ‘fix’ her negative reputation.”
The New York Times first reported Lively’s allegations in the Dec. 21 article “‘We Can Bury Anyone’: Inside a Hollywood Smear Machine.”
On Dec. 31, Baldoni filed a $250 million lawsuit against the Times, alleging that the paper used “‘cherry-picked’ examples of stories and Baldoni and Lively’s alleged communications on the set.
On. Jan. 3, Freedman was asked by NBC News if his Baldoni plans to sue Lively.
“Absolutely … yes,” Freeman said in the interview, which aired on Thursday, Jan. 2.
“We plan to release every single text message between the two of them. We want the truth to be out there. We want the documents to be out there,” he continued. “We want people to make their determination based on receipts.”
The attorney did not give a timeline but noted their action would be “soon.”
