Baby, baby, baby, oh?
Justin Bieber sparked a big reaction when he opened up about his beliefs with friends during a recent Twitch livestream.
“If you even think of a woman with lust, it’s the same thing as actually doing it — committing adultery, or whatever,” Justin, 31, who has been married to Hailey Bieber since 2018, shared.
“It’s like the same thing,” he added. “So it’s like, if it even crosses your mind for one second…”
Justin also stated that “if you treat a man with anger or something, it’s the same as killing a man.”
The Grammy winner’s remarks left critics divided on the internet. Some agreed with his sentiments, while others argued against his comparisons of lust and cheating.
“This is so false for anything in life you can’t control your thoughts if you act on them yes thats wrong but a thought doesn’t mean anything,” one person wrote on X.
“Yeah, this will actually make u f—ed up. Accept that you’re a man and accept that we are hunters. You don’t have to act on it but an innocent quick lust-thought is fine. Stop torturing yourself jb,” someone else wrote.
“Impossible standard to maintain but i bet girls love to believe this lie,” a different person tweeted.
A fourth individual wrote, “you know he saying it cause he does it.”
Justin and Hailey, 28, have been at the center of rumored marriage woes for almost a year now.
Hailey has subtly shut down the breakup speculation in TikToks, while Justin sang about the alleged marriage struggles and his bouts with mental health issues on his album “Swag,” which came out in July.
In the song “Walking Away,” Justin sings, “Girl, we better stop before we say some s–t / We’ve been testing our patience / I think we better off if we just take a break.”
But some of the lyrics proved that the pair — who welcomed son Jack Blue in Aug. 2024 — are still very much in love.
“Baby, I ain’t walking away / You were my diamond / Gave you a ring / I made you a promise / I told you, ‘I’d change’ / It’s just human nature / These growing pains / And baby, I ain’t walking away,” he also sings in “Walking Away.”
Last year, a source told People that the Biebers ignore the constant chatter about their marriage.
“They laugh at the constant divorce rumors,” the insiders said. “It’s annoying but just noise.”
