Kanye West has put out a Los Angeles casting call seeking males who are “comfortable with wearing swastikas” as authorities field multiple calls for graffiti of the Nazi symbol as well as noise and disturbance.
The Los Angeles Police Department has gotten nearly a dozen noise and disturbance calls in the past two months due to a warehouse “where Kanye West is doing business for an upcoming event,” law enforcement sources notified TMZ. At least two separate calls have been made regarding swastikas spray-painted on the warehouse, which sits near an elementary school.
The outlet reports that the 47-year-old “Heartless” rapper — who has unleashed a slew of antisemitic and racist screeds over the past several years including in recent days — put “urgent” flyers all over the city’s Larchmont neighborhood, seeking actors to portray his “hooligan choir.”
Ye is seeking “AFRICAN AMERICAN MALES” who are not “fat” and are “COMFORTABLE WEARING SWASTIKAS.”
Insiders told TMZ they’ve seen Black men audition with shaved heads and standing in military formations, though they’ve yet to spot Ye himself. Meanwhile, they say his songs “Carnival” and “Black Skinhead,” have caused the walls of neighboring homes to shake as they’ve been blasting nonstop from speakers outside the warehouse.
Ye is currently embroiled in several lawsuits from former staffers who accuse him of antisemitism and sexual harassment.
Earlier this year, Ye upgraded his history of antisemitic and racist social media screeds to dubbing himself a Nazi, praising Hitler and selling t-shirts emblazoned with swastikas — which he advertised during a jarring lo-fi Super Bowl ad. The site was subsequently shut down.
This week, between reaffirming his love for the Nazi leader, Ye claimed he and his now-incarcerated cousin shared an incestuous relationship when they were young.
