Kate Middleton, Prince William share sweet photo of Prince Louis on 7th birthday

Kate Middleton and Prince William have shared a new photo of Prince Louis in honor of his 7th birthday Wednesday.

The Prince and Princess of Wales took to social media to share a sweet snap of their youngest son on his special day.

“Wishing Prince Louis a very Happy 7th Birthday! 🎂,” they captioned the image shared on X and Instagram.

In the snap, the young royal can be seen perched on a tree trunk in the woodlands while beaming from ear to ear. Quite noticeably, Louis’ bright smile shows him missing his two front teeth.

The Wales’s son, who is fourth in line to the throne, is dressed in a dark green wool sweater atop a crisp white checked shirt. He teamed his smart-casual look up with a pair of dark blue jeans.

The adorable photo was taken by Yorkshire-born photographer Josh Shinner, who snapped the pic in Norfolk earlier this month.

Shinner has worked with the royals several times before, famously photographing the family’s official Christmas card image in December 2023.

The birthday post received some love from the royal family’s official X account, which reposted the photo with the caption, “Happy Birthday to Prince Louis! 🎈🎉”.

While Princess Catherine typically photographs her children’s official birthday portraits, she and William landed on Shinner’s expertise this time around.

Last year, Princess Kate snapped an adorable photo of her youngest son lying down on a picnic blanket in the grass.

The proud parents marked their son’s 6th birthday with a “private party,” The Post exclusively revealed at the time, as it was his first birthday since the princess’ cancer diagnosis.

Louis was born on April 23 in 2018 at the private Lindo Wing of St Mary’s Hospital in Paddington, London.

His birthday is closely followed by Princess Charlotte who turns 10 on May 2, as well as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s son, Prince Archie, who turns 5 on May 6.

William, 42, and Middleton also share son Prince George, who will celebrate his 12th birthday on July 22.

George, Charlotte and Louis all attend Lambrook School in Berkshire, England, which sits nearby to their Adelaide Cottage home.
