Kathy Griffin underwent a hysterectomy for precancerous condition

Kathy Griffin has revealed some startling news.

The comedian, 64, announced on Instagram on Monday that she recently underwent a hysterectomy after doctors discovered a precancerous condition.

“Happy Monday!” she wrote. “I had a hysterectomy on Friday, that’s right they took out the uterus, the fallopian tubes & the ovaries. Pre-cancerous, blah blah blah.”

Although Griffin did not provide more details about her condition, she did announce that she would be sharing more details on her Patreon account at a later date.

“Not to be an asshole, but how do I NOT have a reality show to capture all of this?” she added in the caption of her post. “I mean, you can’t write it. It’s too real.”

This isn’t the former “Kathy” host’s first health scare.

Griffin previously revealed that she was diagnosed with Stage 1 lung cancer in 2021 and had “half of my left lung removed” as part of her treatment.

“I’ve got to tell you guys something. I have cancer. I’m about to go into surgery to have half of my left lung removed,” Griffin wrote on social media at the time. “Yes, I have lung cancer even though I’ve never smoked!”

“The doctors are very optimistic as it is stage one and contained to my left lung,” she continued. “Hopefully no chemo or radiation after this and I should have normal function with my breathing. I should be up and running around as usual in a month or less. It’s been a helluva 4 years, trying to get back to work, making you guys laugh and entertaining you, but I’m gonna be just fine.”

Griffin announced that she was cancer-free during an appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” that November.

“I had surgery, you’re not going to believe this — so, I’ve never smoked but I got lung cancer,” she told Kimmel. “In August, I had half of my left lung removed. I’m not even kidding.”

“So now I’m like Minnie Mouse meets Marilyn Monroe,” the comic joked. “It will heal, but I’m sort of enjoying it. I’m a good two octaves higher, I think. It’s higher than Mariah Carey, I know that.”

Meanwhile, fans have rushed to Griffin’s Instagram page to wish her well amid her hysterectomy recovery.

“Get well soon queen,” one person commented on the comedian’s post.

“Take it easy, Kathy!” another wrote. “No hoppin’ around or lifting s–t! And maybe no news! Just rest and feel better soon.”

“Effing hell,” a third fan wrote. “Hope you feel better soon miss Kathy!”

Griffin’s latest health news comes after the “My Life on the D-List” alum claimed that a “creeper” was “harassing” her over her criticism of President Donald Trump.

“This #creeper has been harassing me on my daily walks on the Dume in Malibu,” she wrote on Instagram last month, alongside a photo of an unidentified man. “I know it’s a very local reference but if you know you know. It’s not a ‘celebrity’ spot.”

“He approaches me with his camera and asks me only questions about Trump,” she added.
