Kelly Rutherford’s son is all grown up!
The “Gossip Girl” alum, 56, glowed while standing alongside her oldest child, Hermes Gustaf Daniel Giersch, in Paris on Monday, marking the first time she’s posed in public with the 18-year-old in a decade following a brutal custody war with her ex-husband, German businessman Daniel Giersch.
Hermes looked like the spitting image of his mother at the star-studded Chanel show and the Rahul Mishra event as part of Paris Fashion Week 2025 in France.
Wearing a dark suit with a light shirt and his hair slicked back, Rutherford’s only son appeared taller than his famous mom in photos.
“Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists” star appeared every bit the proud mama bear, leaning in and embracing her son during the fashion show while looking chic in a long-sleeved, belted dress, heels with bows and clutching onto a patterned mini handbag.
Like her son, Rutherford sported her light locks down and slicked behind her ears.
Their Paris Fashion Week appearance marked a monumental moment for the mother-son pair following an unforgettable custody nightmare with her former husband that lasted six years and reportedly cost the “Melrose Place” alum $2 million.
Rutherford married Giersch in 2006. They welcomed their first child, Hermes, in October of that year and their second kid, daughter Helena, in 2009. She is now 15.
Rutherford filed for divorce from Giersch in 2009 when she was only 3 months pregnant with Helena. The actress was granted joint custody of the kids following their split — but that all changed when Giersch’s work visa got revoked, and he could no longer step on U.S. soil.
A Monaco judge ended up granting Giersch full custody of the kids in 2015, ordering them to live in Monaco with their father full-time despite both children being born in the U.S.
When Giersch was granted full custody, the judge banned the actress from taking her kids back to the U.S. at any point after she refused to put them on a plane back to Europe after they spent the summer with her, according to People.
Rutherford left her life behind in Hollywood and repeatedly flew to Europe to see her children. In 2013, the actress filed for bankruptcy protection due to the pricey legal battle and her inability to work steadily.
In May 2015, Rutherford told The Post she had no regrets.
“This is about my kids,’’ she shared after flying into New York City from Europe. “They’ve been through a lot.” She declared she’d “do it again,’’ telling The Post, “These are my kids!’’
The star eventually made Monaco her home so she could be near her children.
“I’ve always wanted my kids to have a relationship with him, and I’ve really only encouraged that all along. When I went into court, I never asked for money, and I never asked for full custody,” Rutherford told People. “I just wanted what was right for them and their well-being moving forward. And what happened over the next six years was the most surreal, bizarre, unimaginable thing.”
The Post reached out to Rutherford for comment.
