Expect Stetsons on the Strip.
Las Vegas’ Sphere just announced that Kenny Chesney will be the first country act to headline the visually spectacular venue.
“I’m always looking for ways to deepen the way No Shoes Nation experiences this music,” Chesney said in a statement. “…just the idea of 4D technology and the impossibly dialed-in sound raises the experience for No Shoes Nation, literally immersing them in music, visuals, sound and being together. To me, this is going to be a whole new way of rocking the fans, and I can’t wait.”
As of now, the 12-time Country Music Award winner has 12 Sin City shows lined up from May 22 through June 13. More dates could be added depending on demand for the residency.
Thus far, nearly all artists that have performed at Sphere — U2, Dead and Co., The Eagles and Anyma — have extended their runs. Phish was the lone holdout and stuck to their four-show commitment.
What Chesney has up his sleeve for the forthcoming spring 2025 residency is yet to be seen but has been in the planning stages for months.
“It’s something that we’ve been working towards since last May, actually,” he shared on the Today Show.
If you’d like to see the 56-year-old country icon live in a whole new way, tickets can be purchased for all upcoming Kenny Chesney Sphere shows on sites like Vivid Seats; the official on-sale is Friday, Jan. 31.
Vivid Seats is a secondary market ticketing platform, and prices may be higher or lower than face value, depending on demand.
They have a 100% buyer guarantee that states your transaction will be safe and secure and will be delivered before the event.

Then, in March, Dead and Company will revive their Sphere stint that wrapped its first leg last August. Bobby Weir, John Mayer and co. have 18 shows lined up at the eye-popping entertainment epicenter.

Kenny Chesney new music
On March 22, 2024, Chesney dropped his 20th studio album “Born.”
The 15-track album runs the gamut of crowd-pleasing sing-alongs to guitar-heavy jams to heartfelt ballads. Essentially, “Born” gives birth to a great concert experience filled with energetic peaks and emotional valleys.
Standout tunes include the feel-good “Born,” straightforward rocker “One More Sunset” and contemplative “Thinkin’ Bout.”
Most fun of all though might be the anthemic “Long Gone,” which steadily builds to an energetic crescendo that will have you on your feet and pumping your fist. It’s a blast and perfect for the ride home long after you’ve left the show.
To hear the rangy record for yourself, you can find “Born” here.
