Kim Kardashian blames Kanye West for brain aneurysm diagnosis

Kim Kardashian revealed a shocking health scare during Hulu’s “The Kardashians” Season 7 premiere on Thursday.

In a preview teaser clip for the rest of the season, Kardashian, 45, got an MRI and then told her sister Kourtney Kardashian on the phone, “There was a little aneurysm.”

“Whoa,” a shocked Kourtney, 46, responded as she put her hand over her heart.

Kim explained that doctors told her the aneurysm comes from “stress.”

An aneurysm is a bulge or ballooning in the wall of a blood vessel, according to the Mayo Clinic. Aneurysms can rupture which causes bleeding inside the body and often leads to death.

During the premiere, the SKIMS founder noted that her stress comes from ex-husband Kanye West. They were married from 2014 to 2021 and share four children.

“I feel more stressed probably just because I have to protect my kids,” she said. “Everyone around can handle [the drama], but I want to protect my babies. They are going to know things. They’re going to grow up and see.”

“So my job as a mom is to just make sure that at a time when that behavior is happening, is just to make sure that they are protected,” Kim added.

Kim also revealed during the episode that her skin condition recently flared up again.

“I haven’t had psoriasis since I got divorced, and it just started coming back,” she shared while stating that she recently felt “pretty tested” by West, 48.

“felt more stressed, probably just because I had to super, super protect what I had to protect,” Kim continued.

In another scene, Kim said that she had “Stockholm syndrome” during her relationship with West.

“I always felt like I had a little bit of Stockholm syndrome, to where I always felt really bad and always protected [him] and always wanted to help [him],” she explained.

After their 2021 split, Kim and West went through a contentious divorce that was finalized in Nov. 2022.

During her recent appearance on Alex Cooper’s “Call Her Daddy” podcast, Kim opened up about the demise of the former couple’s marriage.

“People can say that there was, like, signs and maybe I didn’t wasn’t paying attention to them,” she shared. “And I think when someone has, like, their first, like, mental break, you know, you wanna be super supportive and you wanna, like, help figure that out and you wanna really get into that with them and and be there for them.”

“It makes it really hard to continue on in a relationship that can be toxic,” Kim went on. “When you have kids, it’s definitely harder to leave than it is to stay. And it changes everyone’s life forever.”

The “All’s Fair” actress also claimed that West hasn’t called their kids in “a couple months” and that she raises her children “full time.”
