King Charles to give Kate Middleton rare prestigious honor

A promotion fit for a (future) queen!

King Charles is reportedly looking to grant Kate Middleton the power to hand out royal warrants.

The Princess of Wales, 43, is making a gradual return to public-facing duties after a year of cancer treatment behind closed doors.

As she prepares to return to her normal workload, it appears as though the monarch is looking to issue a major promotion to Prince William’s wife in the coming months.

“King Charles is extremely fond of his loving and resilient daughter-in-law,” royal commentator and photographer Helena Chard told Fox News.

“He holds her in high esteem. I’m sure he will be honored to implement a major royal first,” she said, adding that Charles, 76, is keen to give his “beloved” daughter-in-law the royal honor.

The beloved royal will be the first Princess of Wales in 115 years who will be granted the honor.

According to the royal family’s website, a “Royal Warrant of Appointment” is an honor handed out by senior members of the Firm to businesses, brands and people they support.

It’s a “mark of recognition” to those who “have regularly supplied goods or services to the Royal Household,” the description adds.

While it’s unclear exactly to whom the mother of three will give the honor, it’s believed that several fashion brands might be lucky enough to be considered.

In December, Charles and his wife, Queen Camilla, granted their second set of Royal Warrants of Appointment to a total of 386 companies.

This follows the 152 Royal Warrants the pair handed to businesses in May 2024, records show.

Royal expert Hilary Fordwich said this “prestigious endorsement” is expected to happen “sooner rather than later.”

“It signals King Charles III’s faith in Catherine,” Fordwich told the outlet. “She’ll have increasing influence as she is being groomed for such responsibilities.”

“This is due to her poise, intelligence, tact and reliability as he is gradually delegating responsibilities to the next generation,” she added.

The Post has reached out to Buckingham Palace for comment.

Sources close to Middleton originally told the Times of London that the princess will grant royal warrants to her favorite companies later this year.

The last Princess of Wales who was allowed to issue royal warrants was Queen Mary, before her husband George V became monarch in 1910.

While Charles issued out warrants in 1980 as Prince of Wales, his then-wife, the late Princess Diana, was not given the honor.

Last year, Princess Catherine was given the Royal Companion of The Order of the Companions of Honour for her hard work over the years and her loyal service to the Crown.

It marked the first time this honor was given to a member of the royal family in its century-long history.
