After much speculation about her youthful appearance, Kris Jenner is getting candid regarding her latest facelift.
The 69-year-old famed momager revealed her new look on the September cover of Vogue Arabia, speaking honestly about “aging gracefully” — with the help of New York City plastic surgeon Dr. Steven Levine.
“I had a facelift about 15 years ago, so it was time for a refresh,” she shared. “I decided to do this facelift because I want to be the best version of myself, and that makes me happy. Just because you get older, it doesn’t mean you should give up on yourself.”
Jenner noted the decision to get work done is a personal one that everyone should make for themselves, regardless of others’ opinions.
“If you feel comfortable in your skin and … you don’t want to do anything — then don’t do anything,” she said. “But for me, this is aging gracefully. It’s my version.”
The TV personality also spoke about how her daughters supported her through the process: “Of course my daughter Kylie went with me, while Kim was present at all times on FaceTime.”
As she approaches her 70th birthday in November, the entrepreneur said she wanted to go public about her plastic surgery in hopes of helping other women who desire a change.
“I decided to reveal some details because I feel it can be very inspirational to people who aren’t feeling so great about themselves,” she said. “Even when I had my hip replacement, we filmed it. I have the conviction that sharing these things can be helpful.”
This isn’t the first time Jenner has spoken publicly about her cosmetic procedures. In 2015, she revealed her decision to undergo several breast augmentations, followed by an earlobe reduction in 2018.
“I just have to try my best to do what I can to feel good and healthy,” she said. “My blessing is my family. If I can be a part of their lives in the best way possible, then I’m thrilled.”
