Mayhem in Miami.
Lady Gaga abruptly canceled her concert in Florida Wednesday night just minutes before she was set to take the stage at Miami’s Kaseya Center.
“Hi everyone, I am really so so sorry but I need to postpone tonight’s show in Miami,” the singer, 39, wrote on her Instagram Stories.
Gaga explained that her “voice was extremely strained” during her rehearsal on Tuesday and her vocal warmup on Wednesday.
“My DR and vocal coach have advise me not to go on because of the risk it poses,” she continued. “I want to be hardcore and just push through this for you but I don’t want to risk long term or permanent damage on my vocal cords.”
“There is a significant risk based on all our combined experience with a show like ours and as you know I sing live every night — and even though this was a hard and agonizing decision I would be more afraid of the long term implications on my voice,” Gaga added.
The “Wednesday” actress apologized to fans for the cancellation, writing, “I hope you can forgive me and accept my sincerest apologies for any disappointment. Let down. Inconvenience.”
“I tried so hard to avoid this,” she shared. “I take serious care of myself to be able to put on this highly demanding show. I love my fans so much. Respect you and hope you can accept my sincere regretful apology. We are trying to reschedule the show as quickly as possible.”
Gaga has yet to announce a new date for her Miami show.
The Post has reached out to Gaga’s rep for comment.
Kaseya Center also announced that the concert was canceled on Instagram, but the venue was met with severe backlash from fans.
“hope gaga gets better, but y’all handled this horribly. do better,” one fan wrote in the comments section of the venue’s statement.
“I flew from over 1,000 miles away to be pointed at and laughed by staff from inside,” another fan claimed.
Someone else said, “The way the staff was so disrespectful to those who were already in and wouldn’t explain what was going on. a complete failure in terms of communication and respect.”
“It is completely unacceptable the fact that this was not communicated ahead of time. How do you cancel a show 30 min before it starts,” a different fan wrote.
Gaga’s Mayhem Ball tour kicked off July 16 in Las Vegas and will conclude January 30, 2026 in Tokyo. The tour is in support of Gaga’s album “Mayhem” that came out in March.
The pop star had two other shows in Miami on Aug. 31 and Sept. 1. Her next show is scheduled for Sept. 6 at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
On the same day that Gaga canceled her Miami concert, she debuted her new song, “The Dead Dance,” timed to her cameo appearance in “Wednesday” Season 2. She also released an accompanying music video directed by “Wednesday” producer and director Tim Burton.
