The Los Angeles Lakers weren’t the only ones who didn’t want Lamar Odom.
The ex-NBA star, 45, formerly married to Khloé Kardashian, has been ordered to vacate his LA rental after the landlord sued him for allegedly failing to pay $45K in back rent, The Post can exclusively reveal.
On March 20, the sub-lessor of the Studio City, Calif., mega-mansion, Executive Recovery Group, Inc., sued Odom, claiming that on or about December 15, 2024, the former Lakers player entered into an oral agreement for a month-to-month tenancy at the rental property.
According to the lawsuit, Odom agreed to pay a monthly fee of $15K to stay at the sprawling home, which was due on the first of every month.
However, Executive Recovery Group, Inc. claimed Odom failed to pay three months of rent from January 1 to March 31.
The sub-lessor alleged they gave the ex-reality star several notices, including a three-day notice to pay or leave the home that was posted on the premises on March 11.
The notice, which was included in the suit, warned Odom he was “required to pay said rent in full within three (3) days.”
“If you fail to perform or otherwise comply, Landlord declares the forfeiture of the lease or rental agreement under which you occupy said premises,” the notice declared.
Executive Recovery Group, Inc. also declared in the court documents that it mailed a copy of the notice to Odom.
“At the time the 3-day notice to pay rent or quit was served, the amount of rent due was $45,000,” the lawsuit read, which also alleged the fair value of the premises “is $500 per day.”
Executive Recovery Group, Inc. also included an “election of forfeiture” in the filing, revealing that on March 17, it allegedly terminated the lease agreement with Odom.
The sub-lessor sued Kardashian’s ex-husband for alleged past-due rent, forfeiture of the agreement, attorney fees and damages.
The court sided with Executive Recovery Group, Inc. on April 28, when Odom didn’t respond to the lawsuit, awarding the company possession of the home and ordering the former basketball forward to vacate the premises.
The Post reached out to Odom’s team for comment.
He wasn’t the only famous person who used to stay at the home either.
Late rapper Mac Miller once leased the property and even recorded his two-season MTV show, “Mac Miller and the Most Dope Family,” there before his tragic death in September 2018.
As for Odom, he’s had it rough since his near-fatal overdose at the Nevada brothel The Love Ranch in 2015. He suffered 12 strokes and six heart attacks while in a coma. Kardashian remained by his side during his hospital stint, putting their divorce on hold.
Their divorce was finalized in December 2016, and while the two lost touch, Odom awkwardly reunited with his ex-wife for an appearance in Season 6 of her family’s reality show “The Kardashians.”
The former athlete has spoken out about the Love Ranch incident and his recovery. He also launched his Odom Wellness Treatment Centers to help others struggling with addiction.
