The power of the holidays.
Madonna toasted to having another festive season in the books on Thursday, posting a video to Instagram showcasing her family and home.
The 66-year-old shared a reel featuring her boyfriend Akeem Morris, 28, and four of her kids: Lourdes Leon, 28, Chifundo “Mercy” James, 18, and 12-year-old twins Stella and Estere.
Celebrating both Christmas and the first day of Hanukkah on Wednesday, Madonna gave a behind-the-scenes look into their practice, set to Andy Williams’ Christmas classic “It’s The Most Wonderful Time of the Year.”
“The most wonderful day of the year ………..X-mas and Hanukkah all at once. !!,” the Grammy winner captioned her post.
In the montage, Madonna, dressed in a black dress with a long necktie and sheer gloves, posed with the soccer player as he wrapped his arms around her.
Other shots showed the pop star looking at Lourdes, who also opted for an all-black look, while another image showed her in a blue and white checkered sweater posing in front of a tree decked out in blue and white bows. The reel also included a menorah as the crew celebrated both holidays.
Another photograph saw Madonna and all four of her daughters smiling for the camera while she posed with her eyes closed in a separate solo shot.
Rounding out the sweet snaps of the couple was Madonna sitting on Morris’ lap, a few shirtless pictures of the athlete and a shot of his hand on her knee while sporting an “M” ring on his pinky finger.
Morris also took to his own page to share memories from the special celebration, posting an array of pictures including Madonna sitting on the front steps and the musician wearing blue and diamond stickers on her teeth.
He captioned the post, “Rumnpumpum.”
Missing from the celebrations were Madonna’s sons Rocco, 24, and David, 19. Earlier this month, however, the singer did post photos with all six of her children during Thanksgiving weekend. She also featured her dad, Silvio Ciccone, in the Instagram carousel.
In the Thanksgiving post, which showcased the family on a farm, Madonna reflected on the loss she suffered this past year — including the deaths of her brother Christopher in October and stepmom Joan in September.
“We are born into families and we create our own,” Madonna wrote. “As time goes by I am more and more appreciative of these microcosms of life that Dance around me and teach me lessons every day.”
“My Family has experienced many losses this year. My father has endured with Dignity. Watching him cry in the cemetery when we buried my brother Christopher — right after he lost his wife. Was a moment I will never forget.”
The artist concluded the caption by calling her time spent with family “medicine for the soul.”
But when it comes to 2025, Madonna is ready to pour herself into her work. She revealed in a Dec. 16 Instagram post that she and producer Stuart Price are working on new music.
“These past few months has been medicine for my SOUL. Songwriting and making music is the one area where I don’t need to ask anyone for their permission.. i’m so excited to share it with you,” she captioned the clip.
Madonna concluded, “Who wants to hear new music in 2025!”
Her other half took to the comments section to show his support for his leading lady, writing, “I love watching you create hits after hits.”
