Man, 26, in critical condition after stabbing on busy Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, strip



A 26-year-old man was stabbed Saturday afternoon on an active commercial street in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, police said.

First responders arrived at 73rd St. and Third Ave. around 1:56 p.m. following a 911 call and aided the victim, who had a stab wound to the abdomen.

The injured man was taken to NYU Langone Hospital-Brooklyn, where he was listed in critical condition.

There were no immediate arrests. It was unclear what sparked the attack on the commercial stretch, which is a popular spot for restaurants. Cops are looking for two men who fled on foot.
