A man was stabbed inside a Brooklyn apartment Monday, cops said, leaving a trail of blood outside the building.
Cops responded to a 911 call around 11:34 a.m. near Norman Ave. and Moultrie St. in Greenpoint, where the 29-year-old victim was slashed in the leg and wrist, officials said.
“He came running down the steps covered in blood; he was dripping blood. He doesn’t make it far because of how bad his injuries are, then he sits on the stairs,” a witness who was not identified told amNewYork.
EMS transported the victim to Elmhurst Hospital Center, where he was in stable condition.

A 36-year-old woman was rushed to Woodhull Hospital for psychological evaluation, authorities said.
It remains unclear what sparked the bloodshed, and there were no immediate arrests in the incident.
