A 31-year-old man was fatally shot in a Brooklyn apartment building during a violent clash with his brother early Saturday, police said.
Cops patrolling the area were flagged down and directed to the Avenue W apartment near Batchelder St. in Sheepshead Bay — part of NYCHA’s Sheepshead Bay Houses — at about 2:30 a.m. and found the victim sprawled out on the floor.
The victim had been shot repeatedly in the chest and torso, cops said.
EMS rushed the victim to Maimonides Medical Center, but he couldn’t be saved. His name was not immediately disclosed.
The victim’s brother, believed to be the triggerman, was taken into custody for questioning, cops said. It was not immediately clear if the suspect was the victim’s older or younger sibling.
Criminal charges were pending.
