Man, 36, stabbed inside Manhattan subway station: ‘Blood everywhere’


A man was stabbed during a bloody clash inside a Manhattan subway station Tuesday afternoon, police said.

The 36-year-old man was stabbed in his left and right shoulder after he got into a dispute with another man on the uptown train platform at the 125th Street Station near West 125th St. and St. Nicholas Ave. in Harlem, cops said.

“Two guys got into it,” one MTA worker who witnessed the attack told the Daily News. “He was unconscious. He was bleeding from his face, shoulder and body. Blood everywhere. It looked bad.”

Another MTA worker recounted the clash “started on the platform.”

“One of them pulled a knife and stabbed him multiple times,” the worker stated, adding the victim staggered up to the mezzanine and collapsed near a turnstile.

EMS transported the victim to Mount Sinai Morningside in stable condition.

Cops took one person into custody following the incident. Charges were not immediately set, authorities said.
