A 38-year-old man was fatally shot in the neck just steps from his Bronx home, police said Saturday.
Alexis Sanchez was at a deli down the block from his W. 165th St. home near Nelson Ave. in Highbridge just before 12 a.m. Saturday, when cops say he got into an argument with a man in a black hoodie.
During the argument, the man pulled out a gun and opened fire on Sanchez, hitting him in the neck.
EMS rushed Sanchez to Lincoln Hospital, but he couldn’t be saved.
The gunman ran off and is still being sought Saturday.
Cops were scouring the area, looking for surveillance footage that could help them identify the gunman.
