A 52-year-old man was stabbed to death across the street from a Brooklyn playground Sunday morning.
The victim was knifed in the torso outside an apartment rental agency across the street from Fermi Playground on Troutman St. near Central Ave. in Bushwick about 10 a.m., cops said.
Medics rushed the victim to Kings County Hospital but he could not be saved. His name was not immediately released.
Cops took a person of interest into custody for questioning but have so far made no arrests, NYPD officials said.
His slaying marks the fifth homicide this year in the 83rd Precinct, which saw just two killings in all of 2024, NYPD stats show.
