Cops are investigating the death of a man found inside a Bronx motel, police said Saturday.
The man was discovered sprawled out on the floor inside a room at the Deegan Motel on Bailey Ave. near W. 238th St. in the Kingsbridge section of the Bronx at around 2:30 p.m. Friday.
The man suffered a head injury before he fell unconscious and died at the scene, according to police.
The man’s name was not immediately disclosed as cops tracked down his relatives.
An autopsy has been scheduled to determine just how he died.
It was also not clear if the victim was staying at the motel with anyone at the time of his death. No arrests had been made as of Saturday.
When reached by phone, a motel staffer confirmed the death, but declined further comment.
