A 72-year-old man was hurt early Thursday when a stranger threw him against the side of an approaching train during an unprovoked attack at a Bronx subway station, police said.
The victim was pushed into the side of a Manhattan-bound No. 4 train entering the 161st St.-Yankee Stadium station at 3:30 a.m., cops said.
The two men did not speak to one another before the attack, cops said. The victim bounced off the train and landed back on the platform, cops said.
Medics rushed him to Lincoln Hospital, where he’s expected to recover.
Cops caught the accused shover at the station, officials said. Charges against him were pending.
