NYPD detectives are investigating the death of a 59-year-old man who was found in a Far Rockaway apartment building with massive head injuries, police said Saturday.
The victim was found inside a nine-story building on Nameoke Ave. near Redfern Ave. around 2:30 p.m. on Friday.
Someone who discovered the man called 911, bringing cops to the scene, police said. It wasn’t immediately disclosed who the caller was.
When cops arrived, they noticed the victim had visible injuries to both his face and head, police said. An autopsy has been scheduled to determine how the man died.
The victim’s name was not immediately disclosed as cops track down his family members.
