A 60-year-old man standing next to a parked SUV on a Bronx street was killed early Saturday following a wild crash that sent a BMW barreling toward him, police said.
A 24-year-old BMW driver was traveling east on Eastchester Road at Givan Ave. in Baychester just before 12:10 a.m. when it collided with a pickup truck heading north on Givan Ave., cops said.
The force of the impact sent the BMW careening toward a row of parked cars — and the victim.
The BMW driver struck an Acura, a Nissan Murano, and the victim before continuing down the street and colliding with a parked Honda Accord and a Toyota Camry before stopping.
The driver of the pickup truck the BMW struck never stopped. It was last seen heading north on Givan Ave., cops said.
EMS rushed the 60-year-old man to Jacobi Medical Center, but he could not be saved. His name was not released as cops track down relatives.
The BMW driver was also taken to Jacobi to be treated for minor injuries, cops said.
No arrests have been made as cops continue their investigation.
