Man mortally injured in fatal Brooklyn hit-and run dies two weeks later, suspect arrested



A 64-year-old man died less than two weeks after he was mortally injured in a Brooklyn hit-and-run, and cops on Thursday arrested the alleged driver who left him to die, police said.

Douglas Bradley, 64, was struck by the driver of a white sedan in the intersection of 44th St. and Fifth Ave. in Sunset Park around 6:23 a.m. on Dec. 21, according to law enforcement officials.

Medics rushed Bradley to Langone Hospital in critical condition, where he died Jan. 2.

The driver fled the scene, heading north on Fifth Ave., police said.

Eric Rodríguez, 25, was arrested Thursday and charged with leaving the scene of an accident resulting in death. He pleaded not guilty at his arraignment in  Brooklyn Supreme Criminal Court later that day and was released without bail.
