Man stabbed during sidewalk quarrel in Manhattan

A broad-daylight argument on a bustling sidewalk in lower Manhattan ended in bloodshed, with a 38-year-old man stabbed in the hand, police said Thursday.

The clash unfolded around noon on Prince St. and Broadway in Soho, where the victim was gouged in his left hand after a clash with the attacker, authorities said.

At the scene, cops were observed bagging a fork hidden in a nearby planter as evidence, but a police spokesperson could not immediately confirm if the fork was the weapon used in the attack.
