Man stabbed in Lower Manhattan near Staten Island Ferry Terminal: NYPD


A 26-year-old man was stabbed and wounded on a Lower Manhattan street Saturday morning, and the two suspects involved remained at large.

Officers responding to a 911 call found the victim with stab wounds to his right shoulder and torso around 11:18 a.m. near an entrance to Battery Park on State St. near Pearl St., not far from the Staten Island Ferry Terminal, cops said.

Witnesses told police the victim got into an argument with two unidentified suspects, and it quickly escalated into a brawl. It was not immediately clear what their dispute was about, police said.

Medics rushed the wounded man to Bellevue Hospital where he was in stable condition.

No arrests were made. The investigation was ongoing Saturday afternoon.
