A man stabbed during a clash in a West Village subway station was killed with his own knife, police sources said Sunday.
The victim got into a fight with two men, ages 20 and 24, in the 14th-St.-Seventh Ave. subway station about 7 p.m. Saturday, police sources said.
He pulled out a knife and slashed the older of his rivals in the groin and the three started wrestling each other, the sources said. One of the duo grabbed the victim’s knife and stabbed him in the chest with it, sources said.
Medics rushed the victim to Bellevue Hospital but he could not be saved. Cops have not released his name or age.
The other two men stayed on the scene. The one who was slashed in the groin was taken to Bellevue Hospital in stable condition.
No charges were immediately filed as cops continue to probe the slaying.
