A 44-year-old man released from prison less than three months ago was stabbed to death at a Brooklyn house party early Monday, police said.
Jermaine Morant was knifed in the chest in a home on Van Siclen Ave. near Sutter Ave. in East New York about 12:45 a.m., cops said.
Medics rushed Morant to Brookdale University Hospital but he could not be saved.
Morant had 22 arrests on his record, police said. He was released on parole on Nov. 27 after serving more than two years in state prison for a Brooklyn conviction of attempted possession of a gun, records show.
People at the scene believed to be witnesses to his murder refused to talk to cops in the early hours of the investigation, police said.
