A man was struck by a train after falling onto the tracks at a Queens subway station on Tuesday, leaving him critically injured, cops said.
The victim, an unidentified man believed to be in his 40s, toppled onto the northbound R train tracks at the Northern Blvd. station near Broadway in Woodside around 1:23 p.m., said police.
He tried to climb back onto the platform, but couldn’t get up in time and was struck as the train pulled into the station, cops said.
Medics rushed the victim to Elmhurst Hospital in critical condition, according to law enforcement. Police said no criminality was involved in the man’s fall onto the tracks.
