Man who threatened to shoot up synagogues on X caught at Lincoln Tunnel

A 23-year-old Utah man who threatened to shoot up a city synagogue and “condemn you to hell” was grabbed by Port Authority police in New Jersey outside the Lincoln Tunnel, police said Friday.

The Port Authority police were checking all bridge and tunnel crossings for Luis Ramirez’s red Ford F150 after they were flagged by the NYPD about his rambling threats on X.

“The Jews killed me in my past life,” Ramirez wrote on Friday. “If you try to kill me again today in NYC when I pull up to shabbat I will kill you first and condemn you to hell.”

Ramirez claimed in his rambling post that he was Adolf Hitler in a past life.

“Kill me again and I will kill tenfold as many Jews as I did in WW2,” he wrote.

It was one of many tweets about harming Jews, officials said.

On Thursday, he tweeted that he would be visiting the Central Synagogue on Lexington Ave. in Midtown Friday evening.

In another tweet on Wednesday, he said he was the reincarnation of Jesus Christ and that President Trump was “the reincarnation of John the Baptist.”

Port Authority police spotted Ramirez’s vehicle on Route 495 East in Weehawken, N.J. heading toward the Lincoln Tunnel. The officers pulled him over and took him into custody before he could get into the tunnel.

No weapons were found on his person or in his truck when he was stopped.

Ramirez was taken to the Hudson County Jail. Charges were pending.
