Matthew Stafford and the Rams agreed to a re-worked contract on Friday to in order to keep the Super Bowl-winning quarterback in Los Angeles.
That means the Giants and Raiders have both stuck out in an aggressive pursuit of the best available quarterback after Giants general manager Joe Schoen promised to take big swings at the position.
Now that Stafford is off the board, the Giants are reportedly pivoting to Aaron Rodgers as their next option in the veteran quarterback market.
Rodgers preferred to play in Los Angeles after the disappointing end to his Jets tenure, but with the Rams no longer an option the Giants become a possibility.
