Less than a year after he shocked the NBA by trading away Luka Dončić, Nico Harrison is reportedly set to be fired as Dallas Mavericks general manager.
Harrison’s termination is expected to happen during a meeting Tuesday morning, according to ESPN.
The Mavericks missed the playoffs last season after sending Dončić to the Los Angeles Lakers in February for a package that included Anthony Davis, and they are 3-8 this season.
On Monday night, chants of “Fire Nico” — a common chorus among Mavericks fans since the trade — emerged multiple times during Dallas’ 116-114 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks at the American Airlines Center.
