Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly are reportedly back on good terms after welcoming their first child together following their latest breakup.
The “Jennifer’s Body” star, 38, and 34-year-old rapper are “so happy to be parents together,” a source told Us Weekly after the baby girl’s birth on Thursday.
”No matter how they’ve felt about each other, they have always wanted to have a child together,” said the insider. “They have both been communicating and are in a good place.”
Despite reports earlier this year that the former couple weren’t even on speaking terms as their due date neared, Kelly was present to “support and take care” of Fox during the birth.
The rapper posted a black-and-white video on Thursday showing the newborn gripping his finger.
“She’s finally here!! Our little celestial seed,” read the caption, along with emojis for the baby’s sun, moon and rising signs — Aries, Pisces and Gemini — in which the source says Fox “sees great potential.”
The duo first got together in early 2020, just ahead of confirmation that Fox had split from her husband, actor Brian Austin Green, with whom she shares three sons. They announced their engagement in 2022 but called off the wedding early last year.
On Nov. 11, Fox and Kelly confirmed they were expecting their first child. However, they officially parted ways over Thanksgiving weekend, after Fox allegedly discovered upsetting content on Kelly’s phone.
“Whatever issues they have, Megan and MGK both are on the same page when it comes to co-parenting,” another source told People on Friday.
“No one would be surprised if they gave their relationship another try down the line,” they added. “But right now they’re focused on what’s best for their daughter.”
Kelly is also father to 15-year-old daughter Casie through his relationship with ex Emma Cannon.
