The emo cowgirls will ride again in 2026.
Megan Moroney just announced her nationwide ‘Cloud 9 Tour’ that will send her to arenas all over North America and Europe from May through September.
That includes back-to-back gigs at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on Thursday, July 9 and Newark’s Prudential Center on Friday, July 10.
All shows come in support of the country hitmaker’s forthcoming third studio album that shares a name with the tour and hits shelves on Feb. 20.
“It’s the most excited I’ve been about an album release so far, and I think it’s because I [had] the most time to work on this one,” Moroney said in a recent PEOPLE StyleWatch cover story.
“This is my best foot forward for where I’m at, and if you don’t like it, then you just don’t like my music, and that’s okay, because I really love it,” she said, “and I’m the one that’s got to get up there and sing it every night.”
Ahead of the highly-anticipated record’s release, Moroney has unveiled a pair of singles: “6 Months Later” and “Beautiful Things.”
Most recently, Moroney performed the breakup anthem “6 Months Later” at the CMA Awards in Nashville, TN on Nov. 19 in front of a lavish pink backdrop with a number of scantily-clad backup dancers.

Megan Moroney new music
As noted above, Moroney dropped a pair of singles ahead of the release of “Cloud 9.”
Up first is the contemplative, poppy “6 Months Later,” which finds the 28-year-old singer ruing a relationship gone south. After wishing things had worked out, Moroney finds herself two minutes into the song with the empowering lyric “what doesn’t kill you/makes you stronger and blonder and hotter.” Amen.
After that comes the quieter, even more vulnerable ballad “Beautiful Things,” which will likely work well into the slowed-down portion of Moroney’s live shows. It’s sadly sweet and likely won’t leave a dry eye in the house.
To hear both tunes, you can find “Cloud 9” here.
