Mel B knows what Spice Girls’ fans really, really want.
The singer, aka “Scary Spice,” 50, teased a possible reunion ahead of the British girl group’s 30-year anniversary of their 1996 debut album, “Spice.”
The “Wannabe” superstars, including Mel B, Victoria Beckham, Emma Bunton, Melanie “Mel C” Chisholm and Geri Halliwell-Horner, last performed as a group of five at the 2012 Olympics closing ceremony in London. However, they did give fans a taste of a mini reunion at Beckham’s 50th birthday party in April 2024.
“I hope so,” Mel B exclusively told The Post when asked if the group had any plans to commemorate the Spice Girls’ 30th anniversary.
The “America’s Got Talent” host acknowledged there’s been some chatter, but “so many things that have been talked about between us and the press, my kids, their kids, us [as a] lot,” and no plans are set in stone.
However, there is hope.
“I don’t like to say anything until it actually is up and running and you can actually come and watch it,” Mel B said about reunion plans. “So until then, anything can happen.”
And no venue is off-limits, with the “If U Can’t Dance” icon reacting to the idea of a Spice Girls residency at the Sphere in Las Vegas like the Backstreet Boys.
“Oh yeah, that’s a good one. Fingers crossed. Touch some wood,” she said about the Sin City possibility.
Fans have been begging the Spice Girls to reunite for years, especially after seeing them together again at Beckham’s birthday party last year.
During the bash, Mel B, Beckham (“Posh Spice”), Bunton (“Baby Spice”), Mel C (“Sporty Spice”), and Halliwell-Horner (“Ginger Spice) belted out their ’96 hit “Mama” as Victoria’s youngest son with David Beckham, Cruz, 20, played the guitar.
The girls also performed their 1997 single “Stop” in front of the star-studded crowd gathered to celebrate Beckham’s monumental birthday at the private members’ club Oswald’s in London.
Before that, Mel B, Bunton, Mel C and Halliwell-Horner performed as a foursome for their 2019 Spice World Tour, which Beckham opted out of to focus on her fashion line.
“I’ve got a special bond with all of them, and it’s all very different, you know? God, how can I put that into words?” Mel B told The Post about her bandmates, two of whom recently watched her say “I do” to Rory McPhee.
Mel B said that the five Spice Girls “complement each other” and “that’s why it still works so well that we’re all still friends. We all kind of just fit together like a jigsaw puzzle.”
She’s not the only Spice Girl to talk about possible reunion plans, either.
“My hope is we come back together as a collective. It’s more respectful to come as one,” Halliwell-Horner shared with The Sunday Times in March.
Mel B recently had a mini-reunion of her own when Bunton and Mel C watched her tie the knot; however, she told The Post she was unaware they were coming to her ceremonies.
“I didn’t expect any of them to come, to be honest, because it was a very intimate, private thing, and I know everybody’s busy,” she recalled, noting Beckham sent her gifts and Halliwell-Horner was away at a Formula 1 event.
Mel B married McPhee, 37, in a private ceremony at St. Paul’s Cathedral in London on July 5 before exchanging nuptials for a second time in Morocco at Selman Marrakech on August 3.
Bunton came to the London wedding, while Mel C was a part of her Moroccan one.
Mel B also shared the touching reason why she and her husband chose the North African country for a second wedding ceremony.
“That was the last place that I had a holiday with my dad before he died,” she said. “It’s a very special place to me.”
While possible reunion plans linger, Mel B is focused on work and being a newlywed right now.
Not only is she gearing up for “America’s Got Talent” Season 20 finale on September 24 (she’s been a judge on the show since 2013), but she’s also promoting Apple TV+’s “KPOPPED.”
She and Bunton represented the Spice Girls in the streamer’s newest singing competition series, which pairs two Western artists with South Korean idols to perform K-pop versions of their hits and perform in front of a live studio audience in Seoul.
The crowd then votes which artist wins the competition, but Mel B and Bunton sang together because they “didn’t want to split up.”
The duo performed remixed versions of the Spice Girls’ hits “Wannabe” and “Say You’ll Be There” with K-pop girl group ITZY.
“KPOPPED,” which also features stars like Patti LaBelle, Boy George, Boyz II Men, rapper Eve and Kylie Minogue, is now available to stream on Apple TV+.
