Michael Flynn tells ‘Pod Force One’ about ‘irregular warfare’ waged by Islamic terrorists, China already in US

WASHINGTON — Retired Army Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn on the latest episode of “Pod Force One” exposed the “irregular warfare” waged by Hamas and Hezbollah as well as Chinese spies inside the US — a threat that he said has been growing “for well over a decade.”

Flynn, who was pardoned by President Trump almost six years ago after pleading guilty to lying to the FBI, told The Post’s Miranda Devine that former President Joe Biden’s decision “to open up the borders” forced a drastic shift in the foreign-born population, allowing terrorists and agents of espionage in.

“It changes the nature of the country,” said Flynn, who previously served as President Trump’s national security adviser in his first term. “It changes the fabric of our culture.”

“It’s principally this Chinese influence, this loose alliance with the Islamist, the radical Islamist crowd,” the former intelligence official continued. “I mean, Hezbollah and Hamas are not just over in the Middle East. They’re right here inside of the United States of America — in a big way, in a huge way.”

“People don’t know that, and they’ve been here for well over a decade — and they build into the fabric,” Flynn added.

“This is this irregular warfare that the Chinese have written about,” he also said. “And it’s a very famous book. It’s online. People can get it. These two Chinese colonels who wrote it, and it’s basically to take over the United States of America without firing a shot.”

Nearly 16% of people residing in the nation are now foreign-born, comprising both legal and illegal immigrants to the US, according to the Census Bureau’s Current Population Survey.

Last month, National Counterterrorism Center Director Joe Kent testified to Congress that more than 18,000 suspected or known terrorists are currently inside the US after entering during the Biden administration, many of whom have “ties to jihadi groups like ISIS and al-Qaeda.”

Flynn first wrote about the coordination between “China, Russia, Iran, North Korea and Venezuela” in his 2017 book “The Field of Fight: How We Can Win the Global War Against Radical Islam and Its Allies,” released a few months after he was fired as national security adviser.

The ex-Army lieutenant general in his “Pod Force One” interview accused officials in the Obama administration of conspiring to strongarm his guilty plea of lying to the FBI about his contacts with then-Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak after the 2016 election.

Former CIA Director John Brennan, former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper and former FBI Director James Comey — all of whom have since been investigated by Trump’s Department of Justice — were loyal “soldiers” in the effort, Flynn claimed.

The pardoned Trump ally also placed blame on the bureau’s former deputy director, Andrew McCabe, and disgraced ex-FBI agent Peter Strzok as well as his lover and fellow former agent Lisa Page.

Flynn has previously alleged that former President Barack Obama cautioned Trump not to appoint him to the 45th commander-in-chief’s administration, purportedly because it would expose the depths to which several Obama officials went to conceal its spying on the Republican’s 2016 campaign.

He was fired just 24 days after being appointed national security adviser during Trump’s first year in office — but later pardoned by the president on Nov. 25, 2020.

In December 2017, Flynn had pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI, only to seek to withdraw that before sentencing. The DOJ had already moved in May of that year to drop the case, but a federal appeals court later blocked that motion.

Documents released the month before showed that Flynn had discussed sanctions and a UN vote with the Russian ambassador, though Republicans downplayed that there was anything “improper” about the phone calls and Trump said his former adviser was “essentially exonerated” long before the pardon.

Trump officials like current DNI Tulsi Gabbard have since charged that the Obama-led intelligence community, DOJ and FBI engaged in a “treasonous conspiracy” to subvert Trump’s victory over Democrat Hillary Clinton in 2016.

“Hezbollah and Hamas are not just over in the Middle East. They’re right here inside of the United States of America — in a big way, in a huge way,” Flynn told The Post’s Miranda Devine. AP

Gabbard and CIA Director John Ratcliffe later referred documents outlining the alleged plot — and the “substandard” intelligence relied upon for that effort — to Trump’s DOJ, prompting a flurry of subpoenas for Brennan, Clapper and others from the US Attorney Jason Quinones’ office in Southern Florida.

Prosecutors indicted Comey last September as part of a case involving his alleged fabrications to a congressional committee about purportedly leaking to the media details of FBI probes while he served under Trump.

A federal judge dismissed the case, arguing the prosecutor who brought it, Lindsey Halligan, was improperly appointed US Attorney, but it has since been appealed to Fourth US Circuit Court of Appeals.
