Prince Jackson, the eldest child of late King of Pop Michael Jackson, is engaged to college sweetheart Molly Schirmang after nearly a decade together.
“8 years down ♾️ to go,” the 28-year-old announced on Tuesday, though the news was overshadowed by the engagement of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, who revealed their upcoming nuptials mere hours earlier.
“Molly and I have spent a lot of time together and made incredible memories,” Jackson captioned an Instagram carousel set to the tune of “I Just Can’t Stop Loving You,” off his father’s 1987 album “Bad.”
“We’ve traveled the world, graduated and grown so much together,” he continued. “I’m excited for this next chapter in our lives as we continue to grow and make great memories. I love you babs.”
Cousin Taryll Jackson — whose late father was Michael’s older brother, fellow Jackson 5 alum Tito Jackson — offered his congratulations in the comments.
The happy couple began dating in 2017, when Jackson was studying business administration at Loyola Marymount University, according to People.
Speaking to the outlet after their first anniversary, Jackson said he and his now-fiancée are “complementary in a way that we balance each other out.”
The news of their engagement comes on the heels of Prince’s younger sister Paris ending her engagement to bandmate Justin Long (not to be confused with the “Dodgeball” and “Weapons” actor of the same name).
The 27-year-old model and singer slammed the Daily Mail’s photos of her crying amid the anniversary of Michael’s death.
“Those are breakup tears. Y’all are fkn reaching again,” Paris tweeted late last month, just weeks after announcing she and Long had picked a venue and set a date for their wedding.
Prince and Paris are Michael’s children from his marriage to Debbie Rowe, which ended in 1999. The “Thriller” artist, who died in 2009 at age 50, also welcomed son Bigi — formerly known as Blanket — via surrogate in 2002.
